Morocco: Marrakech (1/3)

marrakech1-3

I only tumbled into the North African city of Marrakech early last year while looking for alternative travels off the more beaten path. After learning that the former French colony has actually been a favourite tourist destination for many in Western Europe, proper research and planning commenced.

Hoping to escape winter’s wrath, I timely scrammed London for an expected warmer paradise on my term break last February. However, to my absolute dismay and the equal dismay of my shorts and shirt-filled luggage, it was wet and damp on my first day in a new continent. But I didn’t mind getting soaked in the souks as moving in new places and discovering unknown cultures are two things that relleh rock mi socks.

Your blog is really an inspiration man! I’ve been wanting and dreaming to be a backpacker one day but I just don’t really have that enough courage. Keep it up! I’ll take that dream from here.
